Matthew (Hammond B3 organ) ventures out to the west coast for his most ambitious project to date with two legendary musicians: Jeff Hamilton (drummer - Diana Krall, Oscar Peterson, Ray Brown, Monty Alexander) and Bruce Forman (guitarist - Richie Cole, Ray Brown, Bobby Hutcherson).  Recorded in Jan. 2020, in Glendale, California, L.A. Connection stamps their own unique spin on the classic jazz organ trio (organ, guitar, drums).

As a jazz organist/pianist/accordionist, Matthew performs in a variety of different instrumental combinations and settings. Also a Hammond Organ Endorsed Artist, Matthew has released 4 jazz organ albums, playing both vintage and newer Hammond Organs and Leslie Speakers.

Matthew has a passion for the music of guitarist/composer Django Reinhardt and his style of music known as “Hot Club Jazz”. Having played the accordion since his childhood, Matthew has immersed himself in this style. The Hot Club Jazz Fellowship presents Parisian-style jazz standards, Django Reinhardt songs, romantic ballads, and waltzes.

The Georgia Polka Connection plays a fun blend of polkas, waltzes, and traditional European music. Leading the way on the accordion, Matthew transports you the festhalles of Germany, as well as diving into Cleveland and Chicago style polkas.
